What happened to my favorite candy?

I love this candy! Actually, I love all of your candies but Rhea Bar has been my favorite candy since it was introduced. It tastes like a regular candy bar and reminded me of my former favorite (Baby Ruth), which I had to give up when I was told that I was in a pre-diabetic stage. So I was ecstatic when you introduced this candy bar. That said, I have noticed several changes in the caramel texture since the Rhea Bar first came out. At first, the caramel was perfect. It had a nice chewy caramel texture (not too soft and not too hard) that I loved. But then for some reason it changed and the caramel had become very hard like a jaw breaker. My recent order reflected a new change. I'm glad that it was made softer but maybe. . . . a tad too soft now. I wish it was left like it was when it first came out -- that was the best, not too hard and not too soft. I still love it, but a tad sad with the change.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! As a heads up, caramel will change with temperature, the hardness came from it freezing then unfreezing which ruined its texture. Since it's hotter now, it's going to be gooier too. We did move the peanuts from the nougat to the caramel to have a less hard bar, too, but that would not change caramel's texture. You should find that placing them in the fridge to chill a little before you enjoy them will give you the firmer caramel texture you prefer. We hope this help
